Dr. Naresh Kumar did his PhD degree in  Electronics & Communication Engineering, 2013 from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, H.P., India. He did his M.Tech Degree in Opto-Electronics with specialization in Optical Communication Engineering, 2007 from Shri G.S.Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, M.P, India.

He has Freelance worked experience as a Press Correspondent in newspaper. His area of interest  is Social issues and Science reporting. 

Presently, He is the part of  EC as an Expert and giving consultancy on Telecommunication and Optical Space Technology.

                                              Post Doc Project Involvement

I am FCT Post-Doctoral Fellow under the project title “Coherent Ultra Dense WDM Networks based on OFDM-RoF-PON” funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), Portugal. Duration: 3 year

I did my Post Doctoral under the Project “FLEXICELL”, a research project NSRF in Co-Promotion PT Innovation and Telecommunications Institute, co-financed by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through COMPETE-Operational Programme for Competitiveness Factors (POFC). My work focus on this project is convergence of fixed-mobile networks, optical access networks to mobile networks; CPRI protocols and Open Radio Interface (ORI). Development of a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) / remote RRH (Remote Radio Unit), flexible, supporting multimode / multiband according to the rules of ETSI/3GPP based paradigm and Cloud–Radio Access Networks (C-RAN).

I did my Post Doctoral under the project “CITO-Image Compression using Optical Transform” funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology. My Work focus on this project is Implementation of a transformed into discrete components, implemented the integrated optical devices and test simulation developed in Matlab platform. During this project I was also the part of COST IC1101-Optical Wireless Communications-An Emerging Technology.
